Back in February, McQ Alexander McQueen presented their Fall 2012 collection, which was a first during London Fashion Week.

The collection, which was designed to complement the Alexander McQueen mainline collection, will be available to order exclusively on Net-A-Porter.com for the next seven days from today (May 16).

Via a private order service, you will be able to select from twelve key pieces which will be made to order and delivered to you in time for the fall/winter season.

Highlights includes Chloe Moretz’ broderie anglaise embroidered oxblood velvet dress which she wore to the ‘Dark Shadows’ premiere, plus a traditional blanket wool coat in black watch tartan, a black leather jacket with shearling sleeves and a hand-dyed silk-and-wool dress in dark military green.

Prices for this collection start at £445, so shop the collection at Net-A-Porter.com now.

Freida Pinto was the only other star who changed into a second look for the Cannes Film Festival opening night dinner on Wednesday evening following the ceremony.

The beautiful Indian actress wore a striking black sequin Versace gown with a thigh-high split, a sheer neckline and long sleeves.

I am getting a very big ‘Black Swan’ vibe from this gown, which Freida pulls off well.

The only downside to this look is the black pumps, which feel a bit too heavy for the look.

I do however lover the pop of pink via her lip colour.

Between Freida, Eva Longoria, Nicole Scherzinger, Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart, we’ve seen a number of interesting detailed black gowns on the red carpet this week.

Eva Longoria made her second Cannes Film Festival appearance of the day at the opening night dinner, which took place on Wednesday evening.

Following her breathtaking Marchesa gown at the opening ceremony, Eva wore an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2012 gown.

With a body-conscious nude slip, tulle overlay and lace piping, this is a much more gothic look to the tons of tulle gown we saw earlier in the day.

I’m glad to see Eva is keeping us on our toes, and not just sticking to one look.

A sleek updo, black pumps and white clutch complete the look.

What can I say? Cannes agrees with her.

The 2012 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony, held inside the Palais des Festivals on Wednesday evening brought out even more stars.

Virginie Ledoyen: The French actress looked absolutely stunning in a strapless teal goddess-like Elie Saab gown. With neatly pulled back hair, Chopard jewelry and a winning smile, I’m getting Natalie Portman vibes – the utmost compliment, of course.

Eva Herzigova: The model has me completely envious, wearing a gorgeous custom Dolce & Gabbana gown. Covered in crystals, the pale pink ¾ length sleeve gown fits Eva impeccably, although a do find her large diamond Chopard necklace to be unnecessary. That dress can certainly stand on it’s on.

Dolores Chaplin: The actress, and granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin, wore a bright chartreuse Lanvin gown, in a silhouette similar to that of Emma Stone’s dress at the 2012 Golden Globes. Whilst I love the bright colour of the dress, I wish she had added a bright belt or shoes.

Kara Hayward: The young ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ star makes her Cannes debut wearing a tiered lemon Louis Vuitton dress. The light colour and sweet shape is perfect for such a young actress. A headband accented up-do completes the look.

Alice Eve joined Nicole Scherzinger on the red carpet for the UK premiere for ‘Men In Black 3,’ which took place in London this evening.

Perhaps they should call the film ‘Women in Black,’ as like Nicole, the blonde actress opted for a darker look, wearing a sleek Antonio Berardi Spring 2012 dress.

The patent leather panel gives the look a futuristic vibe and prevents the look from being a typical LBD.

Paired with asymmetrical Roger Vivier sandals, I even get a bit of an alien-vibe, which is very apropos, given the theme of the movie.

A smooth bob and ruby lips finish the look.
